June 15th: How to Prevent Diabetes

With CHI’s assistance, we have invited Dietitian Ms Xuan Qin to speak to the group. 47% of Asian Americans fall into the pre-diabetic and diabetes group when they are over 60 and over. Regular exercise and weight control are key factors to avoid diabetes. Besides, suggest to take 50% of Daily consumption of veggie and fruits,25% protein and 25% fat as nuts / avocado or other source of fat.

A balanced diet and regular exercises will help to preserve health.
